Say you like Fury without laying it thick , it’s simpler than trying so hard
He was a reigning lineal champion on a 10 year unbeaten streak when fury fought him in his fortress in Germany with crowd, commentary, ref and judges against him. And with klitschko trying to cheat.

Additionally, Klitschko was only ONE YEAR Older than Usyk is now, and the same age as Bertebiev, he hadn't taken any punishment in his last 10 years, and big heavyweights age better than small ones.

It was an excellent win, the best win of any current heavyweight.

Always the same: plenty of same-content (very often not saying anything people don't know) interviews. And then we have the same posts on identical threads.

There is less than a month until the fight, let's wait for the fighters to speak in the ring. None of them will have any excuse. And let's hope for a quick rematch - both deserve it.

So far, Fury has been uncharacteristically quiet during the build up to this one. That would suggest he’s taking this seriously. I’m hoping we’re going to see the best version of both fighters face off. I’m thinking this is likely to be something of a chess match as Fury tries to make his size & reach advantage count whilst Usyk tries to negate that & work inside without being crushed. Whoever is appointed as referee is likely to have a big influence on this one. I wasn’t impressed by Louis Pabon falling for Usyk’s low-blow histrionics v Dubois. I’m hoping that Harvey Dock ref’s this one. I find it interesting that most posters here seem to favour Usyk, yet Fury is the bookies favourite right now. Who’s actually laying money down on this one & against who? I probably will, not until after the weigh in.

I agree with this balanced take, a lot is going to depend on the conditioning and I do think it's an uphill barrel for Fury.

Even if Fury can get himself into good shape I think it's very important that he fights aggressively from the opening bell, he needs to make it physical early and try and drain Usyk's tank.

Usyk's Key will be to stay nimble and avoid early damage, if he makes it to the halfway point without being mauled then I think he's home and dry, if however in the first 6 rounds he's getting clinched, pushed back and roughed up then I think Fury will actually switch up and start boxing from long range, and if Usyk is tired that won't be good.

That’s pretty much how I see it. Fury is more schooled in roughhouse tactics & dirty tricks than Chisora and will have noted the trouble Derek gave Usyk early on. A lot depends on the ref, as Fury is probably as likely to be DQ’ed as KO’ed. I’m also interested to see what the ring size will be.

Ref will be important, I'm hoping for a ref that will allow infighting and a normal amount of legal clinching, like a good heavyweight fight should be.

If we get a ref that is either no holds barred or one who refs it like it's an amateur bout it'll ruin the fight.

By the way Thompson was one of the fighters I mentioned but your so involved in your man crush that you just proved my point

This fight will not happen in February. If it happens at all, Fury will not be involved
