If it wasn’t hurt then wtf
Possibly injuring his dominant fist falls under "normal boxing injuries" for me so I forgot about that lol, still have Anaguchi in my mind for a heartbreaker.

Granted with the exciting match just finished in which he won, I have a feeling making an excuse for his right hand isn't exactly in Teraji's mind for the winner's interview.
They might be asked about it at the presser later on, but what is he going to say? "It was a great exciting fight, but if not for hurting my hand the match would've ended in an UD" isn't probably what people want to hear.

Yes I get it but he spent 3 rounds without throwing it
        Pretty obvious imo
        No shame there

He gave everything, but the last four were not dominant enough to the point where he could guarantee himself all four rounds won which is what he absolutely needed.
In the end the middle rounds 5-8 where Canizales was wobbling around just getting punted around without enough resistance was the deciding 1R factor.

That being said I'd still pay to see a rematch if Teraji can't get an unification match secured this year.

I'm pretty sure someone will/should ask a question about it in the presser later on.

But until then, congratulation to a great entertainment from two guys that duked out everything.

Probably all but a near guarantee that he did, given his last few rounds of fighting left hand only.

Amazing that social media had Teraji KO'ing Canizales easy. I was like, seriously? You don't know what you're watching, Canizales was always a warrior.

Being fair Teraji was on quite a rampage and has become a KO dude later in his career (and yes, I'm totally giving excuses for my expectations being wrong as well)...

Either the question was never asked, or he simply didn't confirm... but didn't mention anything about it during his post-fight interview.
