Floyd Mayweather Jr: "I Don't Need Shane Mosley"

The media and fan hype has done very little to change the position of Floyd Mayweather Jr. He appears to have no interest in a fight with WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley. Mayweather is still holding a grudge over Mosley turning down his fight request in 1999. Mayweather told boxing scibe Tim Smith that a fight with Mosley was important back then, but he doesn't need Mosley now. Mosley confronted Mayweather in the ring after Floyd won a dominating decision over Juan Manuel Marquez on September 19. [details]

he compares himself - no wait - says hes a more complete fighter than the great sugar ray robinson. how many PPVs was sugar ray in? did he cherry-pick? sure all his fights werent against the best each time out, but u lay your balls on the line 200 times you take the chance of something bad happening. floyd says hes a more complete fighter, but personally, i feel he falls short.

the finishing instinct, taking chances, blazing offense, winning the love of the crowd....HUMILITY, are all aspects of a complete fighter. technical mastery is only ONE ASPECT. hes more interested in himself, money, and keeping his "0" than his supporters. he completely disrespects his fans by taking their money on easy PPVs and does this all with a smile on his face.

all 3 of my favorite fighters went down the path they wanted to go to get to this point of their careers. mayweather,cotto,and pac. i support all 3.shane ducked mayweather 3 times.he barely beat mayorga,lost to cotto and knocked out the one dimensional margacheato. screw shane OLDsley.

Pac and Cotto fought the best to prove they are the best and Mayweather put on grea performances agaisnt GOOD but not really dangerous opponents and has been living off that for the last 3 years.

Put the shoe on the other foot though. No matter who he beats, his critics will always have something to say.

Even if he fights SSM as all of you so desperately want, and beats him, it would not fill the hollow part of your souls that pushes you to continue to spam this forum about Mayweather.
