One thing is for certain. He will never be undefeated. That's a claim Fury or Usyk are headed for. One worthy of retiring at the absolute pinnacle for.

I don't believe Fury will ever fight Joshua nor do i think Usyk will either. They have nothing to prove by doing so.
Meh. 90% of the time, undefeated in a boxing career means that they were protected at points, or they were in a weak era. Ali, Holmes, Foreman, Frazier, Lewis, all had defeats.

I am a big Bud fan and he could fight in any era. But in a tougher era, he almost certainly has a loss or two. Same with Biev. Same with Floyd.

Boxing really just isn't what it used to be. I can't stand Hearn, but if AJ can get back to his old self and unified, it would be a great story.

The whole "an undefeated record means a guy is the best ever" is a big part of the ruination of the sport. Guys avoid any reall challenge. It is really idiotic.

Usyk and Fury will both retire if they win undisputed. Uysk's manager had already said it's hard for Usyk physically to be in the HW divsion. Why would he stick around when he has won what he came for?? Fury will retire to avoid having to defend his titles. He barely managed any defences of the one's he's got! I think he has managed *three* defenses his whole career.

Tyson fury had One poor fight. He underestimated Francis and paid for it. What Eddie fails to mention is that fury would likely be more motivated to beat Joshua than he is Usyk.

fury has wanted Joshua a long long time. Eddie also said Callum smith will knock out beterbiev and wasn’t even competitive. I reckon if fury beats usyk which is a huge IF , fury shatters eddies heart by ruthlessly stopping Joshua.

I’ll be surprised to see Eddie still in boxing when Joshua hangs em up.

the fact that a bloated cruiserweight is probably the best fighter in the division, and a 0-1-0 non boxer is considered a threat for the top guys says everything

              I miss the Klitschko era
The Klitchko era was just as bad, if not worse in terms of quality heavyweights. But I agree that prior eras were much greater. 40 yr old versions of foreman , Holmes and Holyfield would’ve embarrassed a novice like Ngannou.

Like it ir not, AJ is still the money fight.

if he beats Ngannou, he gets whatever fight he wants... that may be a shot at the Undisputed champion.

Usyk would retire if he beat Fury. **** is there left to prove by fighting AJ a third time?

We don't need to see AJ commit Seppiku after the cards are read.

Would be amusing to go back and check all of the various promoter's predictions and see who's got the worst takes. I'd be surprised if it wasn't Eddie.
