I had money on mayer winning so yeah that decision wasn't great lool what happens when you fight these champions in there back yard you're always a couple rounds down before the bells rang its ridiculous. Had it 97-93 Mayer 96-94 at best but I couldn't give jonas 6 rounds in that fight she wasn't doing enough

I believe the judges favored the fighter who closed out the last 30 secs strong.

Pretty sure Mayer won the last 30 seconds of every round unless we were watching different fights lol

Mayer like a typical American female fighter is just a big uncouth lump who just trundles forward throwing with her eyes closed and her mouth open gasping for air.



Jonas was obviously more skilled and landing clean, sharp accurate punches but with very little volume and couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding.

I tuned in this fight but didn't know either just because of live boxing on tv , blondy dominated that fight solid strong , U can't run and get beat up and get decisions, if on the back foot U have to hit and not get hit , I was actually impressed by the solid technical skills of blondy , she beat the other girl up badly bloodied her up controlled and bruised her, daylight robbery

how do you all feel about boxingscene scoring it a draw on their live scorecard since this is a huge robbery, and the american judge that scored it for jonas? this was a close fight and espn had some terrible camera work that i think may be swaying some people. it wasn't giving a good view of a lot of the counters that jonas was landing

Not a bad fight skills wise. Both had their moments. I had Myer ahead by 2 rounds but can't argue, it was close. They should rematch just for the hell of it.

Jonas got the hometown decision. Mayer won this fight by 2 or 3 rounds easy. Good fight, though.
