Beating your sparring partner particularly one that you're well known for basically man handling in said sparring doesn't make you the best.

It's good for your confidence but shít don't let it get to your head.

If he actually believes this he's ******, if it's just a response to all the shít fury has spoke about him over the year fair play to him, it's about time he talked shít to the big ogre, given how much shít he's vomited in his direction over the years.

He might be but it has to be settled in the ring. This is all part of the build up. Fury/Joshua will be a huge event in the UK.

They are built up like hero's to the causals , even though the truth is far different .Khan KO'd in 56 seconds in his first PPV show and Joshua Knocked all over the place in his American takeover , that's more who they are.

It would be nice if the fans who routinely criticize every word one fighter says would not carry a double standard and do the same thing for every fighter when they make similar comments. Wilder and Fury regular talk out of their back side as well. It's typical. They're not intellectual geniuses. They're boxers.
I agree that boxers do talk nonsense regularly. But imo there is a difference between nonsense and delusion and that’s the line that AJ and Khan and Hearn consistently surpass. Wilder does too. However Wilders delusion was regarding excuses for his loses. AJ and khan is more about how they view themselves, which is drastically different from what happens in the ring.

Getting a few wins against the likes of Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and Otto Wallin makes you mouthy I guess.

It's a fair point considering Fury took PEDs, and has run from him 3 times and rarely fights anyone in the top-10. BUT if Fury beats Usyk then he goes top. I can see Fury retiring if that happens though. Sort of thing he would do!

I think Joshua is just saying he is the top HW in UK because he couldn't beat Usyk and he thinks he can beat Fury

they would much prefer to back a coloured man than a traveler, that's the bottom line
That is only reason AJ hasn't fought Fury and the fact that AJ is **** scared Fury will spank his arse!

That's funny because the last time Fury and Joshua were in negotiations to fight Fury issued an ultimatum giving Joshua 24 hours to sign the contract or he was walking away. Of course, the negotiations were in early stages and terms hadn't even reached the point of being agreed upon yet and Fury knew that. No idea how Fury obsessives spin that narrative.
What happens if AJ KO's Ngannou? Is he still trash? If so, what would that make Fury?
And on another point, most people don't dislike Fury because he's a Gypsy. They dislike him because he's a lying, arrogant, self righteous twit whose success in the ring has gone right to his head. That's clear by his apparent lack of preparation or concern for Ngannou which resulted in him looking like absolute garbage in the ring.
Hopefully he was humbled because he's been quiet as a mouse lately and is going to have to actually train properly to do a number on Usyk.

if fury beats usyk that will shut AJ up again but it will start if AJ smacks ngannou around the place

only one way to settle it.......
Exactly. If the shoe was on the other foot and it was AJ who looked awful against Ngannou, you'd never hear the end of it from Fury. We all know what he's like. Regardless of whether you're a Fury fan or not, it's impossible to dispute the amount of ridicule AJ would get if he was dropped by Ngannou.

The writer was giving three examples of legitimate threats in the division. I don't know about you, but Anderson wouldn't come straight to mind. And there are people above Anderson they could have listed.

I just thought it was interesting... when talking about where the contenders come from they were still prepared to dig deep to provide a US heavy. It's getting harder and harder.

Joshua’s best wins Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz, Klitschko & Whyte… Losses Ruiz & Usyk x2

Fury’s best wins Klitschko, Wilder (x2), Whyte, Chisora (x3), Wallin… Losses None

Joshua also has wins over Takam, Wallin, Helenius, Pulev, Breazeale & Martin

Fury also has wins over Cunningham & Hammer.

Joshua has the deeper resume but has lost 3 times. Fury has the better wins ending 2 long championship reigns & he is still undefeated. Fury barely escaped Ngganou & Joshua fights him next. We will get Fury/Usyk as well. If Fury beats Usyk he is the man but if he loses then I have to say it is so close that I would need to see them fight to pick a number 1. Fury should have a loss to John McDermott so that is something I factored in. Fury has beaten 2 former world champions & Joshua 3 but one of those wins is against a guy who beat him. It is close but the UK #1 could be determined Feb 17 if Fury becomes undisputed HW champion.
