I thought you said Benavidez is just a weight bully and not that good. Surely a high level LHW should expose him? You don't really have much conviction do you? If I think a fighter isn't that good I don't keep picking him to beat good wc level opponents.

He may not be as fluid as Bivol, but is taller, has greater reach and hits harder. Maybe they will fight one day. Not quite as fluid as Bivol, but IMO more technical.

I agree he is very good and I'm glad he continued with boxing after this lone defeat to AB.

If you are pushing it: Gvozdyk should win.

Fighting a big light heavy if very different than fighting Andrade and Plant, lol. I don`t think Benavidez hits hard enough to get a respect at 175.

Yes he only has an 86% KO ratio. Feather fisted.

He wasn't flawless but he had impressive skills and talent. Atlas was a good fit for him, I remember for the Stevenson fight he kept saying over and over in the corner for Gvozdyk to keep moving, never stand still, and that was a good tactic because Gvozdyk could be hit but his movement meant he wasn't there for Stevenson's straight left hand for the most part. Harder to do vs Beterbiev because he doesn't look for perfect shots, doesn't need full extension on his punches for them to be powerful.

I always thought Gvozdyk would've had a good chance vs Canelo. Because Canelo doesn't rush or crowd guys, he gives them space. Constant pressure is harder for Gvozdyk, I see him having a hard time with Benavidez, especially given the age difference.

A fighter I unfortunately didn't get to watch much from. I thought he fought a smart and disciplined fight against Adonis. Obviously fell short against Beterbiev and hasn't done a whole lot since. Seems like a good fighter, but probably someone that's supposed to lose to Benavidez.
