I think fighting an old Andrade in a shoe box is safer than fighting a hard punching morrell in the same shoe box.

Is Morrell a better fighter than Garvil? I'm just asking.

Can any version of Morrell stop Garvil in less than 22 rounds?

I wonder how long ago Morrell made this statement. This site has a tendency to stretch one interview into several “stories”. Anyway, it’s all been said before. These two Davids need to get in the ring together ASAP. The fans want it.

We as fans should support these athletes instead of talking nonsense. I don't know who wins, but I doubt is going to be easy.
It would be easy easy brutal but why the fuxk would Benavidez give a nobody like morell a shot Benavidez hs paid his dues Morell hasn't he's busy fighting semi retired bums.

Let him earn it go face plant, Andrade, jermall, shinshkin etc.

But he won't the Cuban will stay talking bull**** like they like to do yet continue to choose bums instead of top comp to work his way up.

And yea mark my words and I'll mark yours....that fight happens Benavidez ****s his world up.

Of course, Benavidez would fight Morrell differently than he fought Andrade. They're two different fighters, differently sized and have different styles. About the only thing that they have in common is that they're both southpaws.

Benavidez is looking for big fights and titles not fighting risky 10-0 opponents for zero value.

Well, I know there's the whole triangles are crap thing, but Morrell had a much more accomplished amateur career than Gavril. And in the pros Gavril lost a unanimous decision to Elvin Ayala, who lost to Alantez Fox who got knocked out by Morrell. Not much to work with, but I personally would be surprised if Gavril made it 12 with Morrell. Doubt he'd sign for the fight. Mbilli certainly hasn't, and I am quite sure he's had the opportunity before.

How many pro fights did Loma fight before fighting for a belt? I don't understand some of so alled boxing fans, there are boxers out there who dare not to step up in competition but are called world class by many and others call them duikers and rightly so. But now we have a guys who believes in himself and want to challenge himself vs one of the best and many of the so called boxing fans are saying that he doesn't deserve it. You folks are obviously very confused and are the main reason why boxing has been going backwards in the las 2 decades. You have turned boxers into divas. It's all about favouritism and fanboy-ism these days, it seems.

If David Morrell thinks that he's ready to fight David Benavidez and calls him out we should applaud him instead of bashing him IMO. Instead of making excuses for David Benavidez - by his fans- why he shouldn't fight David Morrell probably out fear for losing his #1 spot you should throw your support for this fight if you truly believe that he is the best and can beat DM. And it would be the very first he's fighting a live dog of his own size.
