In the interview posted in this thread, he says he's had health issues recently which made him realise that if he wants these fights to happen while he is still alive, he needs to make them now. He also says he's been a boxing fan since he was a kid, playing video games featuring legendary boxers like Ali, Mike Tyson and Duran. At the AJ/Ngannou press conference, he told Francis to his face that he matched him with AJ because he wanted to find someone from the boxing world who would stop him. Francis replied: "Keep looking, you haven't found him yet."

It's a great match-up, intriguing because of the questions it will answer and because it promises to be explosive and dramatic. Parker/Zhang is another great match-up. Stop nit-picking and hating, mate ... enjoy these fights while the oil money is flowing and the politics have been pushed to the back of the room.
