Ngannou dropped Fury and lost by split decision. Francis has 10x more credibility now than he had going into his first fight. Fans want to see him again and the Arabs want to pay him to go back to Riyadh and fight AJ.

Wilder had a signed contract to fight AJ if he beat Parker. He lost to Parker and looked like shit doing it. There was no way the Arabs were going to bring him back to fight AJ after a dismal performance like that.

Wilder vs. Joshua may be this generation's Frazier vs. Norton, Lewis vs. Bowe or Foreman vs. Holmes.
Wilder was tied up with his trilogy with Fury while Joshua was floundering against Ruiz and Usyk, and it's a meeting of generational top heavyweights that may never get sorted out in the ring.
At this point, Wilder has to decide if he's just too old for this crap.
The critics notwithstanding, he's made his mark as one of the biggest hitters ever.
Why hang around getting beat by lesser fighters like Hearns did?
