Lewis sounds like he's jealous that he's not the one being talked about any more.

This is truth.

Anyone who has read Lennoxes autobiography, his ego and inferiority complex come through it in waves.

Rid**** Bowe and Larry Holmes are others of a similar ilk, it's kind of sad to see guys in their 50s and 60s still having those kind of issues. Great fighters but mentally they aren't fulfilled and are fighting imaginary battles for respect in their own heads.

George Foreman is the opposite, he's a confident, fulfilled and happy man, and you see him praise and encourage the younger generation all the time.

Lewis and the others I mention just want to put the young guys down all the time.

Hates that AJ didnt fight Wilder for undisputed while both in their primes....yet held off on Mike Tyson until.Tyson was just a shell of himself.

This demonstrates an ignorance of boxing history. Lewis wasn't a contender when Tyson was in his "prime" by which people tend to mean the short period before he lost to James Douglas. Tyson, as you may recall, spent a period of time incarcerated shortly after this. He then returned and fought a few bums before regaining the WBC and WBA belts. He then dropped the WBC belt to avoid Lewis and went ahead with a Holyfield fight which he lost.

After losing the rematch, he ran into various difficulties and spent some time in the wilderness before eventually reemerging as WBC number one but was still keen to delay the fight and spoke of a tune up. Realising this wasn't going to be viable he eventually went ahead with the fight.

It's ahistorical to suggest a prime Tyson vs prime Lewis fight was ever possible.

How do you earn a title fight?

Get ranked in the top 1 or 2 by an org? Yes, Joshua is there with every org.

Be active? Absolutely

Build your commercial profile to make a fight viable for the champion? Clearly

Take the fight that will get you the shot? Yes he has

What else does he have to do to earn a title fight? Why does Joshua need to clean out the rest of the division when no-one else has to do the same to deserve their shot more?

Beside all that, Joshua is ranked 3 by TBRB. Number one (Fury) is fighting the champ (Usyk). Zhang is number 2 so it's only really him who possibly deserves the opportunity before AJ.

I'm not impressed by Hrgovic sitting on his IBF number one position.
