    Jaime Munguia is more than ready to step up the competition after years of fighting sub-par opponents. Before his barnburner bout and fight of the year win against Sergiy Derevyanchenko in June, arguably the best win of Munguia's career until then was a 2018 decision victory against Liam Smith.

    Last year he said that it was his year. There is no path with the least resistance to a title at 168.

        This guy is a fraud. Has been over inflated fighting nobodies and favored in some fights. I hope this time he will be unmasked.

            Around 40 fights and the only one I remember was against Liam smith.

              Gabe Rosado and Derevy took him the distance too, along with guys like Smith, Takeshi Inoue, and even Dennis Hogan. Seems he's about domestic/IBO champ level.

                Forgot about the derev fight. I agree he's certainly not upper echelon.

                    Ryder needs a KO on this one. Munguia will get a decision otherwise, even if he hasn't earned it.
