I e respectfully disagree man. Bivol a much better boxer all around than the Ukrainian imo. Not to mention still undefeated.

      Both need to

People only really say this about the opponent of the big puncher but in fact it goes both ways

if you have somebody like Bivol who is the master of distance control and statistically the best defense and most accurate fighter in boxing, then his opponents need to fight the perfect to overcome that masterful distance control and defence because you have to be brilliant and work very hard for any opportunity.

This. People overlook the fact that Beterbiev must also fight a prefect fight to do anything. Bivol will not just stand here like other Beterbiev`s opponents.

Bradley is actually right for once .Beterbiev has to be good, not perfect. One punch from Artur can change everything.Bivol has no room for error.

Beterbiev doesn't open up much until he's in the mid range, and Bivol is really good at staying in the long range. Even when he gets to the ropes, which is rare, he doesn't seem to take much damage. Beterbiev has a single inch of reach advantage, which he's going to need to beat Bivol's jab. If he fights like he has in the last two fights, I don't think he breaks the distance to break Bivol down. He only got his offense off against Smith when Smith literally set his feet and stopped punching. Otherwise it's all single shot counters, and Bivol is way more defensively responsible than Smith or Yarde, and has way faster feet.

I think he walks to Bivol, gets peppered by shots, tries to get him to the ropes while throwing very little, then Bivol does a blinding combo right as he takes that last step with his feet off the ground, and disappears out the side. Occasionally when he tries to rest, Bivol will open up and back him up, and he didn't throw anything at all when Smith backed him up. Bivol can do that all night and never get out of first gear. I think you're right that if Beterbiev can break Bivol's guard with his jab that it will make the difference, but that's easier said than done.

I don't mind if Artur wins this one and proves he's got more than I saw in the last couple fights, but right now, I think it's a more difficult task. Either way, whoever wins the fight will really elevate themselves. Not to #1, but should pass Canelo and maybe even get to 3 depending on how the Usyk v Fury fight goes. If Usyk wins that, he's still in top 3 no matter what happens with Beterbiev and Bivol IMO.
That is the best analysis seen here and even better than any top Boxing analysts or commentators, period.

Not sure what are you guys watching, I guess you all are overimpressed with KO`s.
Ok, I guess we will just have to wait.

I will win and lose at the same time that night because these 2 are 2 of my favorite boxers out there, not only in the ring, but outside of it.

They never fail to screw up an article on here:

I’ve always favored Bivol but Bivol has to fight the perfect fight in order to beat Bivol.”

                I'm just saying..........................

I agree with Cinderblock Timmy aka Young
School Bus Head Tim, aka Ol' Hemi Head Timmy, aka Timothy the Tortoise, aka the Short Faced.Bear, aka Tyrannosaurus Tim. I believe Bivol can deal with Beterbiev, and I believe he'll win. But he needs to box masterfully that night. He's gonna be cold that night. Bivol is going to be like Calzaghe was vs.Jeff Lacey, but even colder

A body shot from Beterbiev can always take Bivols legs away and Artur throws mean shots with both hands, especially straight to the stomach. With Bivols high guard, those could do some pretty good damage.
