  • Ngannou vs Joshua is difficult to predict though Joshua will surely win

Here's how I see the fight (and I was right about Fury vs Ngannou, one knockdown but outpointed)

Joshua can fight like his young self - and win (which I don't believe he will dare to do)

He can fight like his second incarnation against Ruiz - and win.

However, Joshuas stiff and compact style vs Usyk would probably back-fire against Ngannou.

Now, Joshuas style in Ruiz 2 might not work against a build like Ngannous. Remember, even Fury did not attempt stick and jab.

I predict we will see a third style from Joshua and that he will win on points safely.

It's not out of the question that Ngannou wins the fight.

I do think Joshua is simply too experienced at the end of the Day.

Ngannous needs more fights before he can go all the way. He needs to increase his output in rounds and take more chances. At the cost of gassing

Joshua is a bit chinny though....

If Ngannou can successfully counter Fury, he can do the same to Joshua.

He looks very hungry and dedicated in his training. I don't know if AJ can recover from the shot that dropped Fury.

Remember this , the mma guy is on his second camp and second fight
He will be much more relaxed and comfortable in that ring
I see mma guy winning just cause AJ is chinny and no faith in himself
If he does wanna fight he gonna have to pull off Ruiz2 but won’t be so easy with a guy who’s not overweight or undertrained

To be fair fury was being exceptionally sloppy when he got countered there, he was moving in behind his shot so he was in range for a short hook.

Joshua needs to be sharp early which I think he will be as he's been very active in the last 12 months and seems dialled in.

The risk I see for AJ is if Ngannou plays possum and acts more hurt than he is. Joshua is going to have to punish this guy with jabs and straights for several rounds and be certain that he is really, seriously battered before going in for the kill.

The "MMA guy" beats any north American heavyweight easily.

          BTW.

One should never make the mistake of comparing fights between each other (remember rock -papper -scissor paradox).

So we have to compare them as fighters primarily, and secondarily as technicians.

Joshuas offense is a lot smoother than Furys. Fury is not a natural puncher. It's not surprising he got countered.

Joshua has a weaker chin but Ngannou is gun shy against Fury, and Joshua is a much bigger puncher than Fury...

All of this can cancel each other out. It's a tough call.

I don't think Ngannou will get smashed. He's too much of a beast. But he can get outpointed quite routinely here. He will likely only get better. But it's tough to learn on the job.

              .

he's always sloppy after His power punches. He doesn't have that athleticism. He's spoken about in the past. Nobody has punished him because the heavies have been in the slum for decades.

Fury was a lot better when he beat Wlad, though.

Is that the Wlad who was washed up and then he wouldn’t rematch ?
                    That better Fury ?
