I do not think its at all difficult to predict neither will it be competitive.

Unpopular but I think AJ actually does just about everything better than Fury.
Everything AJ does gets overanalysed, no matter how awful Fury is people just downplay it and make excuses for him and act like he can do no wrong.

I don't think AJ will be safety first in this fight or look to poke and prod his way to a decision, this is how you give a guy like Ngannou hope and confidence.

Ngannou is terrible and will just be stood static, chin up, a ridiculously wide guard inviting everything down the centre but unlike Fury, AJ has the basics down and athleticism. The hand speed, the crispness, accuracy, technique & power. He'll just bomb him straight out of there. I don't care how good his chin is or how he tough he is.

There are always exceptions but guys with omlec shaped heads and short thick necks are generally better at taking punches than peanut heads resting on top of a pencil neck.

Where is it scientifically proven its a myth?

Having a strong neck and traps will most definetly help when absorbing punches and limiting your head spinning

If Joshua's confidence doesn't fail him he should win fairly easy. He's going to hit Ngannou with clean power punches over and over again. It may take more than a few but eventually that chin is going to crack.

            ...if Joshua's confidence doesn't fail

I agree on just about all counts.

I fully expect Joshua to do what a championship calibre fighter should do to a guy like Ngannou, just as he did with Wallin. This will be clinical and very one-sided.

According to researchers, it's your brain vessels that determine how easily you shut off the brain/get knocked out cold. Not neck, mentally, etc.

                  He recover from Klitch...

                  I think Aj by ko.

Yeah when the brain shakes inside the skull to a certain point it shuts down

Having anything to reduce the impact and protect the brain will help such as a thicker skull or tensing the bracing for impact hence why the ones you dont see knock you out

It's also why the chin is the sweet spot because it makes the head spin with the punch and the forehead is solid and braced from the neck

A stronger neck won't protect all angles of punches or certain parts of the head but it certainly can absorb the pressure that you recieve

Ngannou is one of the biggest outliers in boxing I've seen as a guy with no serious roots in boxing except his desire to box from his youth. He's clearly got skills. If he'd have went into boxing at a more appropriate age I think he'd have touched a belt or maybe even massively changed HW boxing history with his reign.

I really don't feel comfortable saying he beats AJ or AJ beats him. I think the guy we saw fight Fury now with a lil more exp & pro ring confidence beats AJ, but I also think Davison in the corner will be very helpful at developing a plan to beat a better than Fury saw version of Ngannou.

Ultimately I think I lean more Ngannou's way cuz idk that AJ doesn't mentally lose it after getting hit niiiiiice by Ngannou & I fully expect AJ to get to feel Ngannou's power. And HW is the division where power most often negates talent.
