How did AJ hold up the division? He unified the division, honored his mandatory obligations and called out Wilder and Greedy Belly for an undisputed championship bout. AJ has done what Wilder didn't do in his 5 years reign as WBC champion and Greedy Belly is only fighting Usyk now because the Saudis are willing to pay him a hug amount of $$$.

AJ is to Fury what Wilder was to AJ.

A name dropped in desperation hoping to draw a fight and make his career relevant.

So sad. He's like the rejected lover who can't handle the fact their ex has moved on.

Nerds are people that say Ngannou is a comeback for AJ.
It’s a money fight for AJ just as it was for Fury.

I like AJ but man I hope Ngannou beats him so we can hear more “come back” fights for him.
Watching the presser yesterday it sounds like this is a pathway to more than just money.

If Ngannou represents the biggest payday and also a route to fighting Fury or Usyk (again) for titles then it's absolutely the right fight to take.

Where did I say Ngannou is the pinnacle? That's the Saudis recouping some of their money from these fine events. I'm ok with them giving him a freebie. I didn't see much crying when Fury fought him and he is still undefeated. That was even worse because he was a belt holder who should have been in the undisputed fight. AJ doesn't have any belts now.

I’m not going to dispute what you just wrote. You are ignoring what I wrote/asked.

Whichever way AJ lost, bottom line is he got beat by two men much smaller than him.

Remember, my response was ONLY regarding Ngannou being a “comeback fight”
How is that a “comeback” fight when AJ is on a 3 fight winning streak after losing back to back fights. How many more “comebacks” does he need?

As for Fury fighting Ngannou, it was NOTHING but a money grab. No boxing purist defends that. I’m not sure why you bring that up in a conversation about AJ’s comeback fight.

As many as it takes til his soul comes back.

A soul is the vessel that contains the spirits of all things light and dark. The trick is to balance it.

AJ is off kilter and unbalanced because his soul got taken. No amount of money can buy it back.

He needs to grow a new one. Maybe grow a pair just in case..

And that is A ok. What is not is a “comeback” fight. That is all.
By all means, let both winners meet down the line.

All I’m pointing out is how is this a comeback fight when he’s had three wins already?

Perhaps Joe Joyce should take as many comeback fights until his soul comes back.
Or perhaps Ryan Garcia can do the same? Or maybe Amir Khan, after all, Khan is only 37.
I think Wilder should take a few more as well while we’re at it.

But but but … the better question perhaps to ask is, what happens IF Ngannou KO’’s AJ? Will we be talking about more comebacks?

Some people never balance their soul or even acknowledge they have one.

They turn up to the afterlife and get turned straight back around again - depending on their life's actions - to redeem themselves or teach others.

Old souls are either wizened or dumb as fück.
