Is Ryan Garcia double agenting for Golden Boy and Haymon/Floyd?

Ryan Garcia is supposedly under direction of Golden Boy but he seems more friendly and cooperative with Haymon and Floyd. Garcia is always complaining and arguing publicly with Oscar and then he goes training and running with Floyd. It seems Floyd and Haymon may actually be running Garcia's career.

This is odd. Garcia is a limited fighter but like Canelo he draws big numbers. He can't beat the top guns like Loma, Haney, or Stevenson. His smartest business moves may be to go the WWF route and do a series with Tank, alternating wins. And just keep that money rivalry going and in house. While dodging Loma, Haney and Stevenson.

I don't know what goes through Garcia's head. Dela Hoya fought against the rehydration clauses in the Wahid fight, yet Garcia didn't even appreciate it. And Ryan is recently saying those weight draining measures affected his performance and want a rematch without them.

Maybe he's getting secret bonuses from Haymon and Floyd (for throwing the Tank fight?)? This open betrayal and disloyalty just doesn't add up.

Could be, but I think his mental capacity to discern things properly is f**kd up. He's probably those types who could easily be influenced by anything they see cool at any certain time. Being on social media always checking your damn phone every 3 minutes will f**k your brain man. I myself don't even have a single account on these social media things. I don't have any idea how many teens committed suicide just by looking at their phones or the internet. I can imagine all these problems would disappear for them just by cancelling their accounts and do something productive like watching a tennis match or reading one of those John Grisham novels.

True. A friend told me last week he's "done with social media and it's the best decision I ever made." Suspect Floyd and Haymon are trying to lure Garcia for Tank, they need a high profile name for Tank because they will never let him lose to Haney, Lopez, Loma or Stevenson. I think they are scheming to run a 3-4 more fight series Tank vs Garcia, that is their master plan IMO.

Floyd wants to use Ryan's star power to boost his fighter Rolly,, that's all.

And don't count Rolly out, dude can crack.

You underestimate Floyd. Floyd and Haymon want to exploit Ryan's star power for more than just one fight. Be sure of that. The fact that Floyd and Ryan are running around together and are personal friends speaks volumes. They may be business partners. Garcia is going to generate bigger revenues than Romero. Tank vs Garcia series is their master plan.

No matter how much money given, I just cannot imagine Tank "trading wins" ie agreeing to lose against Garcia atleast once to get the trilogy story hyped. Maybe a rematch at catchweight with rehydration clause, but not a loss.

His popularity is literally built upon being the casual's favorite UNDEFEATED KO MASTER (quality of opponent not considered), a loss to Garcia will just destroy his brand.

You think Floyd and Haymon would ever put him in deep water vs Loma, Lopez or Haney or Stevenson where he would get beat so bad he'd lose all value. In fake sparring scripted skits vs Garcia they can build his value even if he loses one or two. Then they'll rig him to win the last one and value restored.

To be a double agent you gotta be smart and mentally strong. Ryan is neither.

Good thread though lmao the headline made me laugh and I didn't read the post. Cryan is just a headcase
