Not certain if the rabbit punch is by design but I agree, there sure as hell seems to be a pattern. Attributing Beterbiev's success to some unholy power like Adonis Stevenson is ridiculous. Yes... Beterbiev hits hard with a bruising jab but the real damage comes from a timed shot to the temple that staggers his opponent enough to land a short hook to the back of the head.

Arthur Beterbiev has hard hands and ****s hard like Manny but he's no Adonis Stevenson, not even close. Beterbiev comes straight in with hard shots but they're not knockout shots. When his opponent opens up Beterbiev will look to counter with a well placed temple shot. The temple is seriously disorienting and it usually spells the end but....right or wrong....Beterbiev always seems to finish behind the head. I'm not sure if it's intentional or if it even makes a difference but I'd like to see it stopped.Comment

"He never hurt me once in the whole fight. He hit me with one decent body shot where we broke through at the same time. I landed a head shot, and he landed a body one, and I felt it a little.
"His power wasnt massive. He was a decent puncher. I expected bigger. I probably overestimated his power."
Calum after the canelo fight
i see a bit of a pattern here maybeComment

But that’s too much thinking involved so most readers just barge straight into the comments section to display their idiocy and ignorance.
It doesn’t help that boxingscene doesn’t show the interviews as a Q&A, and instead make an article about it. Which, to unsuspecting readers, it just looks like Callum Smith is just randomly cutting a promo like a WWE wrestler.Comment

He isn’t. Most people don’t read the articles. And the majority, about 99% of them, can’t deduct that this was an interview where Callum Smith was specifically asked if he felt Beterbiev’s power throughout the night.
