I'm telling you man, Shawn Porter is not to be underestimated.
very good, brah. u r resourceful!!
'champ' can't see the implications of proter's record to pac's sparring wt him.
    let go of the discussion....

      the thing is.......
pac can absorb and withstand the power of a superMW like porter.
and pac was able to hurt porter even if he is fyting at jrMW
cotto can't hurt pac worse than porter.....and pac can hurt cotto easily

that thing never happened in pac's sparring, not even on the 1st day.
or arum was quoted out of context !!
Yes, Jetgeomcx it was the correct quote and correct translation.

You might be right also, Arum might be just promoting the fight just by throwing stuff at the press by exagerating something that might have not happen. The more news for training camp, the more free promotion you get. This news might have sold at least 10 more PPV. LOL.

I really doubt that the Pacquiao will all know, who is a training freak and has always trained 8 weeks for all his fights, will have stamina issues for this one.

Alot has been said of Pacquaio started his training late, that is not true, Cotto started earlier.

I"m pretty sure your boy (Pacman) and my boy (Cotto) will both come in good shape and hopefully provide a good show.

Now the questions is, is Pac going to be able to witstand Cotto's punches? I am a fan of both fighters, did not want this fight to happen. Someone has to be victorious while the other is defeated. It will be a sad day in boxing. They both are classy guys.
freddie dangled a $1000 bonus to whoever can kncok pac down in sparring, way back to the oscar fyt.
MW porter is not exempted and that $$ is an incentive for him.
but nobody has KD pac ever since.

if manny can take the power of a mw in porter, cotto won't hurt pac seriously.
you should see how pac sometimes let his sparmates body punch him....

You have some good points but consider the following:
Porter is not in the ring against Pacman for 12 rounds were the accumulation of punches will have an affect on the boxer. Also consider that Pacquaio is sparring with protective gear, which he wont have in the ring against Cotto and minimizes the impact of Porter, therefore Cotto might be able to hurt Pacman worse than Pacman.

Yes i do agree that Pacman might be able to hurt Cotto, by the accumulation of punches and speed, that will be something that Cotto will have to try to control with his jab.

I might have missed the post were "Pacman was able to hurt Porter", because all I saw was Porter being dazzled by Pacman speed but never getting hurt. If i did miss it, sorry.

this clip proves my point....that pac sometimes let his sparmates **** him in the body.
you will remember in rd 2 against ricky that pac went to the ropes and let ricky hit his body for about 5-6 punches.
pac has a good strong tummy and ribs!!

yes brah, i very much agree bout the headgears.
but i doubt if miguel will be able to land solid shots on manny, considering pac's elusiveness.
i'd say it again....pac will spin miguel around.
cotto will get cut from the (pot shots) swiping leathers of pac.
cotto wil gas out......sooner than later.
the proverbial "speed kills" will be proven again.

Your opinion is well taken and respected, but we will only know come fight night if all of that will take place.

I personnally think that Cotto speed (obviously not as fast as Pacman) is underrated and will have enough of it, to **** Pacman and counterpunch him also. In my eyes Cotto has more speed than JMM who was able to land some very good strong punches against Pacman, punches that are not as strong as Cotto's. On the other hand I must admit that Pacman has improve as a fighter after that.

There are a lot of questions that will only be answered on Nov. 14th. nad it seems so far away. Just can't wait for that fight.

you are comparing the power of porter with the power of cotto. just because he is a mw or lmw does not mean he punch harder than cotto.
