No, you guys are making Pac out to be superman.

It's not reasonable to think Pac is impervious to an SMW's punch.

Since a KO loss from a blow to the body Pac has improved in that dept. and even in training they **** him with the medicine ball and a wooden pole! Guess he learned his lesson on body blows way back when. This has been going on since a fews years back and is nothing new

Making a big deal about nothing, if anybody believes what Arum has to say or that Freddie offered $1000 to KD Pac, I'll sell you the Brooklyn bridge for a good price.

Yeah all sparring partners are gonna go on full force on Pac to get that money. In the end at fight night Pac's body will be tender from all the abuse its gonna take. It's just total nonsense

So when he KD ironed chinned Clottey in the middle of the ring with a jab that doesn't count. Also fighting against a professional headbutter and you saw the results of the headbutting.

The difference is that they are not sparring with 8 oz gloves, they're sparring with 16 oz pillow gloves and they both have protective head gear. Once Pac is in the ring with Cotto, 8 oz gloves and pure raw KO power coming his way...

Very good point about the gloves I forgot to mention that when discussing with jetgeomcx.

manny for sure will use 8 oz c.reyes "puncher's" gloves.
my point is that manny can absorb power punches better than what most people think.
and manny can throw power punches harder than what most people think....that can hurt big fyters like miguel.

but the proof still remains to be seen on fyt nyt.
                  Jetgeomcx,
I agree with your that the gloves will work both ways, i was just referring to my initiall discussion with you on how Cotto's power can probably be compared (or even have more power) to a MW (in this case Porter) when their are gears invloved and we forgot to metion that the gloves used in training (for all fighters) are "softer" then the gloves used in the fight, therefore minimizing Porter's real impact.

That Manny has proven to have a good chin. True, Hatton manage to land a couple of solid punches on Pacman before getting ko and Pacman didn't even blink. Whether will he be able to do the same with Cotto is yet to be seen.

That Manny throws power punches harder than people think, just look at DLH face by round 4 or 5 it was already swollen. But will be able to dominate Cotto as he did DLH? Don't think so.

That "the proof still remains to be seen on fyt nyt"
Totally agree with you more than 100%
