Comments Thread For: Ngannou: If Joshua Takes The Punch That Dropped Fury, He May Not Get Up!

MMA veteran Francis Ngannou believes that he has more than enough skill and punching power to knock Anthony Joshua out. Ngannou, in only his second fight in professional boxing, will face the former two-time world champion on March 8 in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

A good pay day for Francis but he is kissing the canvas for sure.

It is interesting. I don't know what to expect really.

Surely the plan for AJ will be move and outbox Francis and not be greedy. Out point him wide on the cards.

It isn't like Fury landed anything massive against Francis but it might as well have been my Nan hitting him with how Francis shrugged them off.

There are some guys that just don't get knocked out. He looks like one of those - 270 pounds and solid as a rock.

Every day we now get an article with a headline about this guy talking about how awesome he is. I hope AJ whips him good.

Joshua will chop him down like a big oak tree….joshua is a spiteful puncher and those punches are gonna put him away.
Ngannou will be hit harder than he has ever been hit before and let’s see if he can stand up to Joshua’s power like he did with fury.

Its a risky fight for Joshua. Hes the more skilled guy but not to the extent where he can rely on his boxing skills to completely negate any danger or punishment. Other than that Ngannou has the chin, power, strength and weight advantage and the psychology of the situation is in his favour too. I can see AJ winning the decision but if anyone is hitting the canvas in this fight I honestly think its more likely to be him than Francis.
