Smith didn't land anything particularly clean, so it's not like Artur showed some GGG type chin tonight.

Not quite true -- Smith did land a beauty of an uppercut at one point and Beterbiev shrugged it off. Having a strong chin doesn't mean anything other than you have a strong chin though. Who knows how much how much Smith's power was eroded through exhaustion at that point, who knows how much that thick beard absorbs, etc. The test for juicing is the test for juicing. Not a strong chin.

You should watch some old Provodnikov fights. Dude took haymakers like they were light jabs. Walked through massive shots with no effect. Wasn't a great fighter, but insane punch resistance. He is a Russian fighter as well. Many frok that area have thicker bone structure and much better punch resistance. Biev has a great chin, along with sick power, and he is a really good boxer, much better than he gets credit for.

Smith Jr fights wild at times but even that style was sufficient enough to hurt Bivol. Beterbiev has a much better boxing IQ than Smith Jr so the mathematics should tell you Bivol is in trouble. He does not have the power to deter Beterbiev from doing what he wants to do - and Beterbiev can box & move or apply pressure.

What Bivol does have is probably the best lead hand in boxing. Beterbiev will not close distance without some work and taking some jabs and counters when he does his shuffle when closing distance.

It's going to be a great clash of styles.

Beterbiev at 39 is still a threat and a very dangerous threat. He doesn't look like he is slowing down anytime soon. He started off aggressive and finished aggressive. Callum had no chance.

Amazing to think that Biev has tested clean 30 times with VADA since 2020 and yet he is still being called a cheater.

If true, then I guess all boxers are using PED's and testing clean consistently. So, we can say that they are all dirty, and so the fights are all fair. The Lance Armstrong type of thing.

Unless the boxer is someone we like, then they tested clean because they are really clean.

Basically Smith had nothing to threat Beterbiev, the fight was finished by round four, I'd like to see canelo fight him I think he has a chance of beating the Russian with his defencive moves. Bivol has no chance against him tho.

I'm thinking Bivol vs Beterbiev will play out like Spence vs Crawford. It's a great fight on paper involving two of the very best but will be a lopsided affair in the end. Bivol will dismantle King Artur the same way he does everyone else.
