If they ever do fight, if bet you gallo whoops iokas ass how about that?
It was a "possibility" many times before in the past. Ioka has been calling out Estrada for years, as have Ancajas, Nakatani, Franco, Rodriguez, and many more. Estrada is very inactive. Those fights could have been made if he wanted them. Just the one unification EVER?

P4P is a Western popularity contest. Doesn't mean squat to your actual value. Value in terms of pay means what people are willing to pay you, period. How many fights in the bigger divisions get killed because of "muh A-side split." That crap is far more rare in the lower divisions, and Estrada is the worst of the batch. He's turned down more unification offers over money than any other champ in the lighter weight divisions. Estrada isn't even on BoxRec's P4P list at all because he's so inactive. Ring has Bam over Estrada, and Ioka is more accomplished than Estrada.

If he's actually worth more money, why isn't he fighting? Who's paying for it?

Get in your feelings about it, but facts are facts, and El Pato doesn't do unifications.

I am willing to bet that neither would whoop anyone's ass, and it will end up in a decision that will have complaints coming from both sides regardless of who wins.

The sarcasm aside, one thing for certain that is a definite negative regarding Estrada is that he does not fight much. He is by far one of the most inactive beltholder in the lower weights in the 2020s era. The reason he hasn't been stripped of the title due to inactivity is because of WBC. In the last 3 years he has fought three times of which two were with Chocolatito while Ioka has fought six times. Even worse, given that there still has been crickets about Estrada's next fight as of right now there is an outside chance that Ioka fights his seventh match before Estrada does his fourth.

With the lack of action you'd think he was in his late 30s already or something but Estrada is still 33, a year younger than Ioka.
