Beterbiev is STRONGER than Canelo and a better inside fighter, but Canelo has better defense, counters, and is sturdier arguably. But Beterbiev is overwhelming in a very sneaky way. I don't see this lasting past six; that's my PICK-EM stance, anyhoo.

Beterbiev is technical u just don't realize it yet. And he's right in ur face for the entire fight. Where u gonna go. Only a guy like James Toney would be able to stand his ground in front of this guy

Canelo bullied Smith, pushed him back and pummelled his arms and body (with a few uppercuts to the head thrown in for good measure. Smith is static and his defence is gloves up and elbows in which invites a fighter forward. Beterbiev will in my opinion do the same as Canelo, bully smith and either get a late stoppage or unanimous points decision

Not only is Smith trying to convince himself but now we got guys trying to justify his fight with little Canelo
Canelo don’t come close to hitting as hard as Artur and he fights at a slow temperament

You’re right MulaKO, I wasn’t trying to compare Canelo with Beterbiev but just using example of how he put him on the back foot and defensive for the majority of the fight. I can’t see anything else than a Beterbiev win and by KO too

Beterbiev should win and by some type of stoppage, however I do think that Beterbiev has gotten caught with what is Callums best punch , a catch/counter left hook. That punch will be the key, if/when smith catches Beterbiev with that, it’ll determine if the upset will play out or not.

I think Smith is going to catch Beterbiev with his best punch in the fight at some point. The question is, how will Beterbiev take it? If he gets seriously rocked, Smith has a chance. If not, it will just piss Beterbiev off and he'll turn it up until Smith is buried in the corner getting beaten into the canvas. He's like Wolverine in that respect.
