All of his tests before and after passed. AFAIK there is no B sample to test when it's elevated natural hormone, and not a banned substance that the body doesn't make.
No secret door meeting either, Edide's camp was filled in and chose to leak it. And now we know why, because Bellew and Fowler are having a field day on twitter saying Beterbiev is a steroid cheat.
Why are you sticking up for Whyte on this? He failed for PED's before that AND after that.Comment

I was trying to figure out why Beterbiev's trainer brought Dillian Whyte's B sample up after Beterbiev had an atypical VADA test result. What is the connection? Can you enlighten me?

Yes, because they had claimed the B Test would be tested and it released after the fight and it never was.

Apparently the secret in person meeting meant the B side didn't have to be opened.
Beterbiev's trainer (whole corner) was the same corner that Rivas had in that fight.Comment

As the article you linked to says .. because of time constraints, Whyte elected to have an independent panel adjudicate his adverse UKAD test result on the basis of the A sample only, plus evidence of VADA test results which were all clean. The panel cleared him to fight and UKAD withdrew their PED charge, so there was no need to open the B sample.

The B sample can only be used to clear an athlete after an adverse test result. If no charges are brought, the B sample is irrelevant.
Now I've explained that for you, maybe you explain to me ... what did Whyte's unopened B sample have to do with Beterbiev's atypical test result?Comment

I thought it was obvious, it was brought up by Rivas trainer to show what a hypocrite Hearn is over this whole thing. Fine they had an independent panel make a decision on if the steroids in Dillion’s system should ban him from fighting or not, and kept it a secret. And surprise, he failed a third one later on. Good for him lol

Bullshit. Hearn never even mentioned Beterbiev's test result till Top Rank released a statement about it and reporters started asking Eddie for his opinion.

Not Hearn's decision to keep it secret. He wasn't allowed to tell anybody about it because of UKAD's confidentiality rules.
