Seriously, shut up and sign the Morrell contract already Mbilli. You've been #1 ranked with WBA long enough that you would have gotten the call to face him already. He's defended his interim belt several times against guys ranked lower than you, which per WBA rules means you turned him down. He's required to face the top ranked available contender, so you've made yourself "unavailable" several times now.

When it comes to Mbilli fighting top guys, it will always be 100% exciting because he will dart across the ring and open up full blast which will result in either A) he shocks boxing with his power and non-stop attack and gets an upset or B) he does those same things and gets caught coming in or C) is outboxed and loses a decision or gets stopped late. He does have surprising late stamina. His volume can be a blessing and a curse. But in all scenarios, he is absoluteley exciting. If any of you ever see him in a boring fight, please let me know and I'll eat sht till I puke it out of my ears.Last edited by richardt; 01-12-2024, 01:50 PM.MulaKO likes this.

I’ve seen David Benavidez fight and beat top fighters while waiting for Canelo.
I haven’t seen Mbilli or Morrell doing that. In fact they should probably fight each other, that would be a great matchup.

So he wants a Canelo payday, and wants it quick so he can earn his money and go do other things? Maybe that is one of those conversations that sound better when you hear it, as opposed to reading the quotes in isolation. I am willing to spot him it, especially as he is French and things get lost in translation. But if that truly is his priority, that makes me hope Canelo puts him to the back of the line.

And somehow a cuban living in argentina named William Scull, who I've never even seen fight, is #1 under the last belt. Believe they are all undefeated.Eff Pandas likes this.
