Would be very surprised if Wilder took this fight although as Finkel stated, it would enhance the card.

He can't BS his way into an AJ fight anymore and it's not AJ's responsibility to make sure this Bozo gets a supersize retirement check. Saudis pay well. He needs a BIG win to stay relevant. He has a better chance vs Ruiz given like Baby Miller he is fat, doesn't bend and straight up for high impact right. I'm going to go on a limb and say the Saudis have match-makers watching social and they are trying to make fights fans want to see. That's why there is a lot of Zhang talk instead of Ruiz. Take the fight. He has shown that he can clip an old southpaw (Ortiz). The issue is Zhang has a good jab like Gerald Washington who gave him issues for 5-6 rounds but Zhang follows up with knockout power but he is still there to be hit. End of the road Wilder, no more LDBC narratives.

yea "heavy is the Head " esp if the head is the head of a clown as it is in this article talking Wilder and fickle Finkel trying to spin a little noise for his faded and jaded fighter coming off a losing effort and a snap shot of how shot his boy really is...........using the Josh as a spark for his fighter blind leading the blind there..........

Wilder v Zhang is a great fight. Only problem I got is wilder loses and then we don't get wilder v josh.
Maybe Wilder v Frank sanchez/Jared Anderson. But then Zhang don't get a fight, that's not good too. Maybe Zhang v jarrel miller

After Deontay’s no-show v JP & his lack of concern about his loss I don’t reckon he’s much of a draw right now. He’s a bit long in the tooth for a rebuilding process so I guess it’s all about hustling for cheques to cash from here on.

It all begins and ends with Wilder. Does he really want to fight again? Or is he just in it for the money?

In any case, his self-confidence is shot. It’s at an all-time low..He no longer believes in himself.

Now he is too reluctant to take risks or eat any punches. He should seriously contemplate retirement before he tarnishes his legacy any further

I'd respect it if it happens. I doubt he'll take it though. Even during his title reign he rarely fought opponents as good as Zhang. It would probably be a career best win if he's victorious.

High stakes too. KO win and he's right back in the mix and lose and he's facing retirement/ becoming a stepping stone.
