The fact that Parker is less than a year older than Hrgovic is shocking and shows how ****e Hrgovic career has been so far.

Parker went PRO with 19 and Filip with 26. You are a bit ignorant.

Hrgovic by tko rd 7-8, I think Hrgovic has similar attributes and style as Joe Joyce but a tad bit better in most areas, better overall boxer then Joe Joyce who beat Parker. I think people are high on Parker due to his recent victory be Wilder, but it’s a bit of an over rated win in my opinion and Hrgovic is much better then that version of Wilder. If Parker pulls off the win, I’ll never doubt him again.

Filip lost to Zhang and then fought dead bodies. When you take the easiest fights like Filip, that says your confidence is low. Parker is fighting live contenders. Filip is fighting dead bodies. If they fight, easy win for Parker. Filip is just looking for a check. I also blame the Saudi’s for paying him more in his last fight that he has made in his entire boxing career. ****** is Turkey to not demand Filip fight opponent with at lest a heart beat.

Filips last fight, if you could call it that, might have been a bit of Fast Eddie shenanigans serving up a can and a payday while prepping him for AJ.

Like you say, a dead body lined up for a beating and false confidence boost as prep for A-Side Joshy ?

Hmmmm...Hearn doin his thang for the cash cow and setting Hrgy up to fail.

Meanwhile Oilskin's looking to clean out the division and earn another title the right way.

Hrgovic was ducked by Parker and pretty much everyone in the top 10 until Zhang agreed to the fight. The IBF wanted to make an elimination fight and everyone on their rankings said no: Martin Bakole, Parker, Otto Wallin, Kabayel, Yoka, Andy Ruiz etc etc.
They literally went down the list on the IBF and everyone said no until Zhang agreed.

Now part of that is because he is high risk/low reward in that he doesn't have a big name. But still, if he was such a poor fighter you'd think that guys would fight him to get that mandatory position.

Personally I think Hrgovic would beat Parker, who struggles to get inside taller guys when they have a good jab like AJ and even Joyce.

I'd be surprised if Wilder fights in the next 12 months. People thought he was mentally fried before the Parker fight..then he went and got completely dominated.

I don't think he has the resolve to get in there again.

As I recall, Yoka accepted the fight against Hrgovic but had already agreed to a fight against Bakole. He tried to get out of it but was contractually obligated. Bakole then beat Tony from pillar to post. I don't think believe Wallin was in the IBF rankings to say no due to inactivity. Not sure about Kabayel.

Ruiz, Ortiz and Parker declined the fight but I also think there was a matter of the purse.

I'm not sold on Hrgovic. I'm not saying he's a bad fighter but the one time he was in against a live opponent, he didn't react well to the punches and I'm not sure he should have gotten the decision. The rest of his resume has been against shopworn opponents or Eastern European club-level fighters.

Parker is a known commodity, we know what levels he's beaten and what levels he's lost to. I think he has improved since switch to Andy Lee. I think it's a pretty good fight and should let us know what Filip is truly about.
