It’s a good fight & I give Hrgovic credit if he takes this risk. Joyce took the risk against Zhang & lost twice. Wilder took the risk against Parker & lost. Joyce also took the risk against Parker & won. I would much rather see a guy take a risk & get big fights than pull a Pulev & sit on the mandatory position for 2 years like he did twice. Morrison vs Bentt cost him 6 million, Mercer vs Ferguson cost Mercer 4 million. McCline vs Calvin Brock. The lost cost him his title shot. Risky fight for Hrgovic. A win gives him massive confidence & momentum for when his title shot comes. A loss would be devastating to Hrgovic’s career. Nobody will fight him. Parker will keep getting fights win or lose…

A good fight this fight will show us exactly where each fighter stands in the heavyweight landscape. I wander if the IBF strips the winner of Fury v Ussyk if this will be elevated for the vacant title. We wait and see.

There's less than three weeks between Fury - Usyk and March 8th. The IBF can almost certainly be strung along by the winner past that date.

Hrgovic does need a competitive fight before fighting AJ. But Parker is a definite risk so fair play if the fight is made. With Joshua fighting Nganou Parker should be taking the highest ranking fight he can even if not Hrgovic to try and leapfrog Joshua in the IBF rankings. Although he should be well placed in the WBC too now

Could see this one looking a lot like Kabayel v Makhmudov. Could also see Parker getting flattened. Think one of those possibilities are more likely than anything in the middle.
