He can mention Canelo's name all he wants for PR purposes, but I don't see Crawford making pro-active move to make it happen. I doubt he'll take on Tzsyu.
Crawford literally said he is no longer interested in the Charlo fight since he lost his belts and got dominated by Canelo. He was never a big draw anyway. Crawford is in a tough spot, he wants big name money fights but there are really none available to him other than the Canelo circus fight. This spence rematch is a joke, it can't just be stalled indefinitely, I have never seen that before. Usually a rematch has to have a set date or its off.

I think Crawford should fight Boots but he clearly does not like the risk v reward ratio. If he fights a nobody at 154 or 147 next, thats a duck.

Boots already called Crawford out when Crawford was on a radio show.

And if he took a between fight it is obvious it is going to be on Amazon Prime and opponent approved by HAYMON (for the trolls like Haymon is going to let him pick any opponent he wants in-between Spence fights)!

BTW eye injury is a delay tactic. He didn't have retina surgery and he has cataract surgery which requires only sunshades, not a captain hook eye patch.
Exactly!!! Just read that earliest is 1-3 days, with the typical being a week. Longest is 3 weeks. Errl need to quit with the bulls.hit

As talented as he is, his complete lack of personality kills his star power.
And as far as “what does Ennis bring” - Beating Boots would make Crawford a 2x undisputed welterweight champion, something never done in the four belt era. And if he had done that last year, FOTY would have been a lock across the board.

              Bud rules
              Boots don’t want that smoke
Seems like Errol is trying to age him out some more , making the rematch out of reach
And not a word from Boots , crickets as usual when Bud ain’t got a fight lined up
Why ain’t he screaming for Bud now that it’s out there that obviously Spence ain’t ready to fight ?

Ball is in Crawford's court whatever he wants to do next. He knows the rematch is already invalidated by this time, thus he can take any fight if he wants to, but it's obvious he's not excited to go back in the ring. He can pretend all he wants about a now considered "fake" rematch, but he can't make it as an excuse not to take other fights.

Spence also needs to be pressured in declaring the rematch to be no longer in play, do some self-analysis, then come back for a tuneup when he's really ready. He can't go to war without proper ammunition, especially when you lost the first battle. He can't go on acting as if the rematch can happen anytime he wish. It would set a precedent.

That needs to happen ASAP first and foremost.

I second that notion, however, that fight isn’t big enough for it to happen right now, and even after bud faces Spence in the rematch, it still doesn’t demand the money bud will want to take that fight and I don’t blame him. By the time boots is a big enough draw, I think it may be too late. If Bud takes that fight, before he retires… I will give him massive props regardless of the outcome.

I don't have any idea if Crawford is fully embraced by PBC, which is the only platform that can make any fight for him involving PBC fighters. PBC also still has the rights for the 2 remaining Canelo fights deal. I think PBC would rather give them to their existing fighters like Benavidez and Jermall.

The Tzsyu fight is the only one Crawford can negotiate on his own (without PBC). Unless BLK is lurking around and ready to pounce.
