Again, Beterbiev is not just a slugger. His offense is responsible, but because of the power he brings, his KO ratio is high. If I was in Smith's corner, I wouldn't depend on Beterbiev being "wide open".

I'd be very shocked if Smith won, this has the "Brave British try" written all over it with Smith giving it a good go for 6 or 7 rounds before getting poleaxed.

That said Bertebiev is at the age where if he does lose there'd be an asterisk next to it so there's a slight chance.

Smith picks Smith to win, huh? He might not have noticed but his brother can't handle pressure.

          Agreed.

I came here to say something similar which is... Beterbiev is an accurate puncher. Most people react to being hit by him, and it all depends on how Smith handles the power, which nearly no one does.

Beterbiev is technically sound and throws with a purpose. He’s calculated in everything he does.

Age? Yeah it could play a part. But if a boxer is smart, like how B-Hop was, then you can last even if you’re older.

Beterbiev has probably said all of five words leading up to the fight. Smith keeps talking.

Not difficult to figure this one out.

The only slight sliver of hope for callum smith is that beterbiev somehow gets old overnight from all the training camps at 40 yrs old and his reflexes and speed are just shot. But he really hasnt been in many gruelling bouts and he doesnt have that many pro fights so the odds of this happening are slim.

The only guy that Smith has fought that's anywhere near the level of Beterbiev was Canelo. And we saw how that went for him, didn't we?!
