Another bad eye for boxing. That's it keeps losing fans and people interested in it. Corruptions, best not fighiting the best, on and on...

What happend with Oscar and making boxing great again. Greed kills themselves, they shoot themselves on the foot.

So, Tony Weeks would have us believe that he was given the word to watch out for Lawson, because he may have been entering a boxing match with a brain aneurism? GTFOH! Then, he posts that BS on Facebook and is likely advised of the ******ity of it and takes it down. Lawson should sue his ass into oblivion!

Weeks is either senile, corrupt, just plain ******, or a combination of the three. In any event, NO fighter should agree to a fight that he referees.

It’s at the point now that Tony Weeks will be the deciding factor on whether or not I even watch a fight. He is either a dirty liar or waaaaay past his prime as a ref. Go enjoy retirement.

Weeks is so ******, he doesn't even realize that he violated HIPAA and can be sued. His license to referee fights should be suspended at the very least.

Everyone getting on Weeks, but there was indeed multiple tests just like he said. And if you read the article, with the responses of GBP and NSAC, neither party denied the aneurysm claims.

NSAC was like, paraphrasing: “We use the best doctors and strict testing and Lawson was cleared. He was never in danger of not getting approved.”

GBP: “Lawson passed the NSAC testing. Refer anything else to NSAC.

Before jumping on Weeks, pay attention to the language NSAC and GBP are using. Weeks deleted post wasn’t because “he lied”, it was because that was a HIPPA violation.

He didn’t lie, there’s something to what he’s saying. But he’s backed into a corner due to HIPPA. And NSAC and GBP can just deny any claims while Weeks will have to back down.

Tony Weeks exposed them! That said, he should not have let that influence him. The man was cleared to fight, SO LET HIM FIGHT! If his morals won't allow him to do the job, then it's time to retire from the sport!

                Should Referee Tony Weeks Retire?
