    So Tony Weeks lied?

And why would a promoter even need to slip him money to stop this fight early? Vergil Ortiz was in no danger of losing to Lawson.

The commision should never have sanctioned that fight based on resume alone never mind a brain injury

Given that there was a second test ordered, it sounds like there is some legitimacy to Weeks claims.

The Nevada Commission has some serious explaining to do.

Weeks has been making bad stoppages since the Mike Tyson era. There's something wrong with the guy. I'm inclined to believe he makes bets on fights using a another person to place the bet.

Bad stoppage, BUT, the fight wasn’t going past 3 rounds the way it was going. Weeks probably couldn’t stomach the mismatch. Time to retire.

It's professional boxing everyone doing paid favors, Lawson wasn't in real danger either he was clear and watching everything being thrown.

The commissions need to stop sanctioning blatant mismatches - and there's plenty of them - like 50/1 etc.
