Fight Ramos, Castano or Mendoza first. Ortiz has fought half a round in almost 2 years. He needs more rounds

Why does he needs more rounds? Why fight the loser if he can fight the winner.

This is a great fight which will no doubt produce alot of action, if it can be made next for Ortiz let see it!

He really didn't get much ring time or take any damage so don't see why it couldn't happen in a few months.

lets not even try to figure out weather he was serious about his next opponent ...........do you think they would make that fight happen bc neither are as good as some would have us beleive at this time....

And really, I wonder if Tszyu would even go for this. He wants to stay busy but knows Stanionis was tied up for at least a year waiting for his contracted match.

I'd like to see Ortiz get 2 more fights under his belt with one going at least 6-8 rounds and then raising hell with Tszyu. But part of me wonders if he is rushing this so that if his health issue comes back, that he will at least fought for a title. Thats what any fighter would want to do under those circumstances. I hope at least he gets a title shot and I'd be pulling for him against Tszyu.

If he worried about a health issue, then maybe the money matters more than a title shot. I'd sure want to make as much as possible while I could if my future was uncertain.

This could be a fun matchup.

Too much attention to being paid to the 156 weight. After how much the promoters lost on the last two fights, I’m sure they insisted on him not killing himself to make weight for a non consequential, 10 rounder. I’d be more concerned that he didn’t get any rounds in last night……thanks to Tony Weeks.
