Does Charr even want to fight again or defend it? Is there some way he gets paid for not fighting while holding on to the strap?

"Inside he doesn't want to be put under pressure. Joshua, I'm going to put him under pressure and he'll give up. He doesn't know how to fight on the inside. So give him pressure on the inside until he gives up."- Martin Bakole

The ref would step in and break it up like he did with Parker 6years ago. Those pleading puppy dog eyes don't lie when someone gets inside.

The Book of Joshua has already been written.
And i still have no idea what Dubois has done to get ranked so high.

What a pointless debate. There's no way AJ takes a Bakole fight because there's a ton of better options. It makes literally zero sense.

It's like moving up any other sporting division. A lower league team might be able to beat a top division team but they've still got promoted into that division before they get the chance.

Bakole isn't at the top level yet.

In boxing that looks like high alphabet rankings/mandatory fights/titles as well as public engagement which rightly or wrongly speeds things up.

To be fair that's all Shalom is doing here, namedropping for publicity. Everybody knows it won't happen.

I don't see AJ taking the beating Bakole can deliver, but it would be nice to happen.

Could end up being Bakole vs Dubois or Parker looking at the rankings. If they both choose an alternate route, Pero is in at #5.

endorsement deals such promotional nonsense is all I've ever heard of. He might be getting paid by something like maybe the Armenian day time talk show circuit or some such similar nonsense.

It's funny how now everyone beats AJ apparently.

Bakole is a fat slob who marches forward with his head stock still on center line and his hands low.

Bakole has NEVER fought a puncher in his entire career.

I'd favour AJ to knock this guys head clean off his ****ing shoulders to be honest with you because I haven't seen anything to remotely suggest that Bakole can either avoid or take AJ's power.

People want to criticise AJ because he has a couple of losses, but the difference between him and most other heavyweights like Bakole, Hrgovic, Zhang, Sanchez etc is that he actually fought a lot of world level fighters.

Those guys I just named want to sit around until they are DEEP into their 30s before taking a risk, Zhang excepted, he took some risks vs Hrgovic and Joyce. When he was 40.

Joseph Parker is the only non belt holder willing to take any risks, so respect to him for that.

AJ can't beat Usyk at this stage, we know that.

Fury and Zhang would be very difficult fights, id favour fury and make Zhang 50/50 or slightly favour AJ because Zhang is ****ing ancient.

There isn't anyone else at heavyweight I'd favour over AJ right now, not saying there aren't guys out there that couldnt upset him on the right night, but jesus christ.

                  Why not Hrgovic vs Bakole?

                  Why not Zhang vs Sanchez?

These guys don't want to take any risks, they just want a nice easy road to the title.

Its getting me thinking, what was the point he was just an okish fighter in his prime now he would just get hammered if he fought anyone good or maybe he wants to try to leverage his status as regular WBA champion for a payday/beating as long as its high enough.

Hell, I'll fight Canelo right now and get ko'd for a good payday.

Does the winner become mandatory to Charr or the Fury - Usyk winner though?
