I’d respect Joshua if he had fought Zhang who just destroyed Joe Joyce twice. But I knew that was the riskiest opponent and thus the least likely to get chosen.

He should have fought your mancrush Hrgovic at least.

Hrgovic can’t fight because there’s no belt on the line is there it wouldn’t make sense when they are both waiting for the IBF to be available ? Your to much of a clown to realize that just like your much of one not understanding the Ngannou fight was going to happened instead of Wallin but he wasn’t ready .

This is not a defence of Ngannou as an opponent (I would have preferred Zhang) but my quoted post below is true whether one loves AJ or hates his guts (although I suggest each party become less emotionally involved).

I am also aware the WBA and IBF situations are not exactly analogous. Fury - Usyk is a unification, a rematch wouldn't be (unless they draw the first fight). But there is nonetheless a process the IBF has to go through before stripping a fighter unless a fighter has actually signed a contract to face a different opponent, so there are similarities.

It could all happen, but it's unlikely. For it to happen, they would need:

• Fury and Usyk actually fight
• They actually fight on the arranged date (no injuries etc)
• No-one retires after the fight
• IBF issue their mandatory
• The loser invokes the rematch clause quickly (how long does the contract allow?)
• The contract for a rematch gets signed
• The IBF decide to strip the holder
• The IBF endorse Joshua v Hrgovic for the vacant strap

You could write your own ticket on the odds of all that happening. Never mind it all happening within, say, 4 weeks. It's fantasy stuff.

Depends on who you are asking it of.

It seems you only expect that of one man. Hrgovic, Zhang, Sanchez, Andersen, Dubois, Kabayel, Parker shouldn't fight each other... Joshua should fight them.

Joshua hasnt fought any of them bar Parker 6 years ago.

I expect all the top guys to make the effort and at least call other guys out.
