Good fight. Both fought well. Zhang had more power so his shots look more dynamic and a cool name for boxing fans while Hrg had good overall work and kept a stick in his abs and chest which are points. Zhang also gassed at the end. Win ages well for Hrg. AJ beats both of them.

1st knockdown he pulled his head down more than a punch.

You want me to give Joshua and Usyk some fantasy wins here.

If usyk wants me to believe he beats Zhang, he must fight him.
I feel like that is one of boxings biggest misnomers that sparring and winning am fights means nothing.

Especially heavies. Getting looks, confidence and familiarity is always good.

I understand on any given day maybe early in camp people can be feeling their way and get worked over.

But for it to mean nothing? Never bought that.

AJ beat Wallin like a ginger step son. He was relaxed and confident because of their history.

Yes, But Wallin is pillow fisted. If Zhang lands, he can hurt them all. Joshua and usyk also.

Usyk doesn`t like big shots, lol.

If you are saying it only matters what the judges say, not your own eyes, I disagree.

One idiot judge had Joshua beating Usyk in the second fight. If by chance there had been 2 idiots, it still wouldn't change what happened or what we saw.

Zhang is a scary fight for anyone. he's not a great fighter but he's got height, reach, chin and lights out power in both hands.

I'm ready for Joshua vs Zhang or Ngannou. Winner of Joshua/Zhang fights winner of Fury/Usyk.

I don't care what a judge says, especially on a corrupt sports like boxing. I judge fights myself, one round at a time based on the four criteria. When fight outcome gets debated a lot, I watch it multiple times and score it again each time. It is easier for me to be as fair as I can because I don't do the usual fangirl/fanboy stuff that is common practice here. I follow boxing not boxers.

I have scored the Hirgovic/Zhang fight a few times and always come up with the same scorecard: 8 to 4. The knockdown was the only reason the fight was close. And it wasn't even a difficult fight to score. What got a lot of people swayed towards Zhang was because he took Hirgovic's shots better than Hirgovic took his; hence the "heavier shots" narrative. A better chin doesn't mean you win a fight. And there is no such thing as "heavier shots" in the rulebook. The rule says "clean punches*. Besides, who says because fighter A took fighter B punches better means that fighter A punches are heavier?
                  Remember, "heavier" still means nothing.

And most importantly, a fighter's effort must be spread out across majority of 12 separate rounds in other to win. Sorry sir, Zhang didn't do that. No way in hell.

The effect of one fighter's punches on the other is an excellent measure of who is winning a round, imo.
