The dude who gets his ass kicked by everyone and who beat crappy Ugas....is a step up fight for Ennis?

This is exactly the kind of fight Ennis doesn't need. Or Guerrero. Why not fight Staninois? Or Thurman? Or anyone who has some value? Santillan just had a great performance....I mean is Ennis trying to ever fight a guy with a shot? Or is he just interested in Bud whenever Bud has a fight made?

For all the "Boots may be the best fighter in history" talk, someone is protecting the hell out of him. Wierdest situation with a majorly hyped fighter I have ever seen.

another 6 months of his prime gone - much as I like him when he's in the ring I'm starting to hate his out-of-the-ring feet dragging. This is a guy who could potentially be 3 division unified champ - 147,154,160 - but he's not beaten a name yet - he needs to figure out how to get some serious promotional push so that he is in meaningful fights - Thurman/Stanionis/Haney/Tim/Jermell

Which can only happen if these guys at 147, grow some balls! If Boots doesn't get with PBC, he's a fool! There's no place else to go for competition @ 147 or 154!

The Spence rematch is in 2024. Showtime leaving boxing behind apparently causing delays.

I find it hard to believe Stanionis won't be up for a Boots fight especially seeing how he seem desperate for a big fight after been jobbed around by Oscar. Doesn't seem like the Boots team want nothing to do with him. Fighting perennial loser Barrios when StanionIs may potentially be available is a disservice to the boxing fans. Boots team seem to do a lot of name dropping but hardly make attempts to make those fights. I know most fighters will fight anyone but his team seem to be selling a lot of wolf tickets

Ennis is taking the Tank road. No faith in himself. Barrios, what’s joke.

Apparently it has not been settled yet. Id guess it will be at 154 and Crawford will vacate. But who knows. He can't vacate til Spence decides.

Meantime Ennis needs to fight a guy who has a chance and display his greatness, in order to put himself into position to start making real money and building a legacy based on beating the best and unifying all these divisions. I hope he does have that kind of talent. Bud is retiring in a year or two and boxing needs great talent badly right now.

Ennis really needs to start beating top tier guys, two or three times a year, and get going. Make the fights happen, stop running your mouth beating B level guys.
