Tbf some fighters don't do alot of roadwork and others do. Terence crawford for example don't do alot of roadwork because he said it's bad for the joints so he instead does swimming. But wilder never doing any road work in his career is crazy

I felt the same thing, but be wary saying it around here. If you have any reason why Wilder looked bad other than 'he is just a horrible boxer, and always has been' then you get excoriated for being a biased fan.

Its pretty simple. Wilder and team releases these camp videos where they hit the pads and look sharp, but he hates roadwork and if he hates roadwork, he doesn't subscribe to conventional old time boxing wisdom. So he probably has some backward ass logic about all of the old wisdom concerning boxing. And that means he also probably doesn't abstain from sex during training camp. He believes with his power, f..ck the rules, he can break em, do what he wants, and all he has to do is hit somebody. And he has the perfect trainer to do whatever he wants- his best friend who he also once knocked out. So who's going to make him do different? So what we see in the ring is guy who is fighting the way he trains. He f..cks and sucks his legs away, and he doesn't run nearly as much as he should. That works against the low level guys, but not against Joseph Parker. So Wilder got a reality.check... thats all
