I also thought Wilder's legs looked really bad. Completely uncoordinated. Of course he's never been the more coordinated guy, but his athleticism made up for that. The way he looked rd1, I immediately was like, this dude got serious ring rust. Of course a motivated Parker also made up for a lot of went wrong. I just think Wilder wasn't in the right state of mind in anyway. It was immediately apparent when he was fighting backwards 2 rds straight with zero effort to go forward or practically throw a punch.

Oh well, thanks for the memories of the past.

Ask Floyd if he thinks roadwork is important. When u nut, how do ur legs feel afterwards? Running is for legs strength, endurance, not just physically but mentally too. Helps u take a punch, helps with footwork, coordination, balance, and rhythm. Running is everything to a fighter. Wilder can punch but he is uncoordinated. Look how he flails his arms when he's under attack. He has no system or method when it comes to defense. Just to lean as far back as he can on the ropes and flail his arms wildly. I even saw him rabbit punching in close like a school girl with the inside part of his closed fist. Wilder is tough coming forward but inside or going backwards or on the ropes, he flails and rabbit punches and throws school girl/ kangaroo type punches. Its not even amateurish, it's garbage. He has no style, no form, he fights ugly, and he has absolutely no class or sportsmanship after he loses. He whines and makes excuses. He also says he won when he clearly lost, so he's very delusional. He's simply a natural hard hitter.

His chicken legs looked more shot but he didn't even try until the end.

Legs weren't the only thing that looked bad from the opening bell. If you can't pull the trigger as a puncher, you've got no business in the ring IMO.

I always thought he had skinny legs but never really paid attention to them until this fight. He had terrible footwork and his legs looked more skinny and wobbly than ever. He used to have a lot of crouching side to side catlike movement but none of that at all this time. Just straight up and down little toothpicks generating no power.

'twilight' boxing years. My legs checked out years ago... but I'm 70. He needs a farewell fight, then retirement.

Sounds like you need a farewell fight. Keep knocking my guy and you might just get one.
Sounds like you need new parts for your head, DA. Or should I just call you wilder's alt?

They looked like two burned twigs! Wilder himself looked drawn and rather unhealthy. He's 6'7", 38 years old and was 213lbs for that fight. He fought one round in 2 years. He went up against a 31-year-old, 6'4" Samoan in Parker @ 243lb, who had fought 3 times previously in the year. The math wasn't right for Wilder to win.
