  • Guys never get credit for the wins in big fights

So why even make big fights?

Crawford beats Spence. Fans: Spence was washed up, drained, damaged.

Bivol beats Canelo, fans: canelo was too small.

Parker beats Wilder, fans: Wilder was gun shy after Fury loses.

Jesse Rodriguez beats Rungvisai. Fans: Rungvisai was washed up.

Inoue beats Donaire, fans: Donaire was washed up.

Usyk beats Joshua. fans: Joshua was done after Ruiz loss.

So, why even make big fights, if you win, you never get a credit.

      Those are bad examples.

A better example: Matias vs. Ergashev - where NSB before the fight was hyping Ergashev as a world beater and then after, trashed him as overrated.

There were no excuses about age, drain, etc. with Ergashev. He was as 'eye test' as they came and Matias walked right through him and made him quit. Some on here called that a 50-50 fight; then afterwards called him a bum.

The Spence win was great, but we don't need to ignore that he was flung out of a speeding car and tore his retina. I predicted Crawford would win, partly because I knew that Spence was damaged goods.

Anyone who says that is buggin. Canelo is p4p talent.

I feel you on these points. Wilder was bound to lose when he started stepping his competition up; He's too limited to beat the absolute best. The Joshua wins were great for Usyk. Bro outboxed and stunned a guy dozens of pounds heavier than him.

Forums are sadly just full of people desperate for attention so try to get a reaction. Guess the internet is in general. I don't believe most believe the nonsense they spew online. Just missing something in the real world.

Tis what it tis. Would be lovely if there was a place to talk boxing with real fans and no trolls, but hard to moderate that, so understand the issue.

Some of y'all listen to the dumbest mfers here too much. Or you get too caught up in the "excuses" thing.

Look everyone knows when they are fighting. They know who they are fighting. They can plan their time before the fight to be as close to 100% as possible. They know how much weight they can drop in x wks in camp & x hrs on the weigh in day. They know what they have had wrong with them in the past & still been able to win or how it diminished them win or lose. They know you gotta show up for fight night regardless if things were great or awful in camp. If you aren't as near 100% as possible on fight night thats on you. And fair play to boxers talking about why they weren't as near 100% as possible, but fans shouldn't give that many fooks about it. If you give that many fooks about it its on you not the boxer.

Rungvisai was washed up and we have no evidence to the contrary since he just fights random club fighters in Thailand since.

All of the others are good wins for the winner doe...
