He has a very dangerous health condition that he had to get under control. Who knows if his kidneys are ever going to be the same again.

I'm surprised more people aren't mentioning the fact Rhabdo can be caused by PEDs and people are just accepting it on face value, he probably ruined his own body trying to be a weight bully.

So, if he gets taken the full distance by a guy he should blast out in 6, we'll know that his rhabdo was strongly likely the result of substances.

Poor Stanionis, who's probably now approaching more than one year layoff with no fault of his own. He still has no fight scheduled yet. Ortiz dragged him into a fight that didn't materialize.

I'm very glad that his health is much better, and he's able to train and fight again.

Things just happen, you're young and strong and healthy, and there something happens to your health. Don't take it for granted, because really bad things can happen inside your body.

Anyway, Vergil is a very good fighter. Him and Tszyu would make for an exciting fight.

heard the same thing about the PED possible connection.............. shame if it is true and shame if it is not and we have to bring it up but they dont test for anything real and when caught they get nothing done about it so makes a fight fan less then trusting with these guys.

CrossFit is infamous for having its members experience rhabdomyolisis due to over exerting themselves. PEDs don’t necessarily have anything to do with it.

Crossfit is also known for bob from the pub being involved in it, Rhabdo especially set on by over exertion is rarely if ever seen in "real athletes" especially those who are known for their cardio like boxers...

Unless you're implying Vergil is lazy and only bothers to train when he's in camp and overtrains when in said camp.

Which literally goes against everything that's ever been said about him from his team and others...
