Wasn't the same thing you folks were saying about Joe Joyce? Where is he now? I like ZZ but I don't see him as the boogeyman of HW. Far from that.

What's the situation with the WBO HW title? After the Fury-Usyk fight, will WBO issue a mandatory? Will they strip Fury/Usyk if they decide on a rematch, or will the WBO just ok the rematch? If they strip the winner, does that make Zhang the new WBO HW champ?

Good question. The WBO mandatory was last settled following Joshua - Usyk 1. Since then, the WBA mandatory was settled with Usyk - Dubois. IBF is up next and it's expected the title will become vacant if Fury and Usyk rematch. The mandatory situation after that will depend on where the WBC sits within the new rotation once it's unified with the remaining belts.

Were the WBO to strip Fury or Usyk at some point, Zhang would be elevated to full titleholder.

That's the fight Warren should be "ready and willing" to make.

Let's not act like ZZ isn't special. There was never a Chinese heavy weight contender in the history of the sport. Maybe he will be the first champion.i wouldn't mind.

why would anyone risk a fight with Zhang? I don't know the drawing power he has. Can they pay AJ or Fury 50 million and up? that's the only way he gets a big fight. I study video of Zhang. he is a well-schooled fighter with KO power.
