No, it's one thing a commentator saying a fighter has the best skills pound for pound, it's another thing a fighter himself going a step further and saying he'd dominate in any weight class if he wasn't vertically challenged.

Anyhow, that's not even how pound for pound lists are compiled, they're basically resume comparisons of active fighters, which is why you'll see fighters with limited skills making pound for pound lists.

Whatever you say buddy. Sounds like you’re trying really hard to find something to have a problem with.

People have said they weren't impressed with spence. So time to stop trying to flog a dead horse and move on with next win.
          Don't take 5 years too.

They put Loma over Crawford. Lomas said at 135 he'd be too big and long
They pout no defense Chocolate Guy over Crawford. You really want defense if you had a p4p fight with Crawford.
They said Canelo is p4p #1 with rigged cards, tainted meat and Canelo weights all over the place
They said Usyk was p4p#1 getting parked by body shots at cruiserweight and heavyweight(they don't belong on p4p)
They are saying Inoue "Donaire had me fighting with one" #1. You really need both eyes in a fight vs Crawford.

p4p is really a fight if they were at the same weight in a fight. Crawford vs Beterbiev at the same weight would be an interesting fight. He'd smoke the crew above at weight.

This started with me giving examples in the original post. But for your consideration we can go over it again. Paul Magno from Fighthype. Most articles on this site that have covered Terence Crawford have been slanted. Even this article that we are commenting on is slanted. What does it even mean to say he is “considered” to be the first male boxer in the 4 belt era to accomplish becoming an undisputed champion in two divisions? And the insinuation that Terence Crawford is now a PBC fighter is just flat out misinformation. These are things that were said in this article but you would see that this site is littered with such examples if you go back and look at some of its archived articles. Not long after Crawford won his WBO welterweight title PBC had a show where they put up a graphic showing all of what they “considered” to be the current welterweight champions that did not include Terence Crawford. But when Jeff Horn was still in possession of the same WBO belt that Crawford eventually won he was fully acknowledged when a similar graphic was also displayed between rounds of a fight on the card for a PBC show that was being televised at the time. They literally omitted him. They acknowledged Jeff Horn and Manny Pacquiao but omitted and ignored Terence Crawford. If PBC wasn’t a black owned company I would absolutely believe this to be evidence of racial bias.

You are conflating talking points here. Nobody is questioning the skill of Terence Crawford, but his resume is terrible for someone of his standing.

There's no getting around that fact.

No, you need to get over it. Spence was never mentioned until now, but while we're on the subject...

“Errol Spence is a great fighter, but there’s no comparison. When you compare Errol Spence to Terence Crawford, there’s no comparison. I’m already going to the Hall of Fame. If we retire right now, he’s not going to the Hall of Fame,” said Crawford

He discredits his own resume. By his own admission he has never fought a Hall of Fame Fighter. He needs to stop talking.

Do argue with me, argue with Bud.
