Weight classes exist for a reason. Terrence knows his power won’t hold him at 160 or above

He's speaking truth IMO. I had him #1 p4p and picked to win prior to the Spence fight but even those of us who picked him were shocked at how far ahead he was in skills than Spence therefore everyone else as well. He'd have to go to 168 for me to be concerned about someone being able to take him and like he said you'd be hard pressed to find rounds he's lost let alone fights. He's one of those guys whose skills exceed the Hall of Fame and enters that GOAT conversation. I would not be surprised at all to see him be able to take out the Mayweather's and Whitaker's and Duran's of times past. Dude is that good.
He's too small to have real success above 154. Let's see how he looks at 154 first.Comment

I don't think it's fair to expect him to dominate up to 160 however.Comment

Why do so many people give Crawford a hard time? He is fun to watch, stops everyone he fights, isn't scared to take risks. He was avoided by alot of fighters. I mean were there really that many Spence fans? Are they really that salty? Why? Spence is a good fighter but he was never that exciting.
I guess I cant see why a person would be like, Im team Spence, screw Bud. Or vice versa. Bud is alot more fun to watch, but I liked Spence as well.
I dont't get it. Is Bud not "black enough" or something for some people? As a nerdy white guy I don't understand that concept. But Bud is a decent guy, he whips ass, he has major talent. Why do some posters just dog the guy constantly? It's weird.Last edited by Theshotyoudontsee; 12-27-2023, 12:18 PM.Comment

Maybe, but don't get it twisted. Crawford was as much at fault along with his promoter and management for not getting big fights. I don't think Bobby was interested in dangerous opposition (top rank avoids dangerous opposition with his fighters to this day, especially if they're not under his banner) along with Crawford who has never been a ppv draw demanding outrageous amount of money. He initially priced himself out and I don't think he was eager on taking on oppression on his level. Now he has no choice because he's older and running out of time, that's why he wants a Canelo payday, not because he thinks he wins, let me rephrase, Crawford probably thinks he beats Canelo but he won't, it's about the amount of cash he will make to go off into the sunset.Comment

Well, most people's favorite fighters actually take on challenges, that's why they are in close fights, the only challenge Crawford has taken in his career has been a guy who was severely injured in a car accident, had eye surgery for his vision problems and was weight drained in Spence, so what does that say about Crawford. Canelo would K.O Crawford into oblivion, people say, oh, Crawford is so slick, such a great boxer and there's some truth to that but people don't take into consideration that packing muscle and weight would slow Crawford down not to mention he started at 130 and has never been in the ring with guys that big. Crawford should stick to his weight, he might possibly do well at 154 but I honestly think he would have problems in that division as well, I think Crawford is maxed out at 147.

But Bud has a contractual rematch. These posts are what I mean. Why do you pull so hard for Ennis to "get his shot" against Bud.....when Bud was actually ducked, he "fought inferior comp". The same should be said of Ennis.
Is Bud not flashy enough with the bling? Im serious, why so much personal dislike?
