Crawford has earned respect. And this is coming from a big Spence fan/former Crawford hater.

Canelo would K.O Crawford into oblivion, people say, oh, Crawford is so slick, such a great boxer and there's some truth to that but people don't take into consideration that packing muscle and weight would slow Crawford down not to mention he started at 130 and has never been in the ring with guys that big. Crawford should stick to his weight, he might possibly do well at 154 but I honestly think he would have problems in that division as well, I think Crawford is maxed out at 147.
Exactly my sentiments. He needs to stop ducking his mandatory there's plenty of time for bigger names. Ennis is young hungry and I believe will give him a better fight than a Spence who was weight drained and coming off major surgery.

Do we really have to go back to his resume again.

Look, we can see that Bud has skills, but it's unfortunate he wasted a lot of his career using them against inferior competition.

Now, he's trying to play catch-up, looking for a high profile cash-out fight.

Let the fans be the judge of that , I've been with Bud slightly before the Burns fight around ten years ago ...and admired his ring craft , his defence is second to none , he only spoils it with his mouth sometimes.

Tbh, I think Crawford would have beaten the entire PBC roster at 147 at any time. They tried waiting him out for business reasons, and it backfired. At least Porter made a fight of it.

I respect Buds accomplishments but hes sounding a bit arrogant lately ,I guess he has certain bragging rights but at any weightclass? Calm down a little TC. Lets see if he manages to keep same performance level at 154-160.

He's speaking truth IMO. I had him #1 p4p and picked to win prior to the Spence fight but even those of us who picked him were shocked at how far ahead he was in skills than Spence therefore everyone else as well. He'd have to go to 168 for me to be concerned about someone being able to take him and like he said you'd be hard pressed to find rounds he's lost let alone fights. He's one of those guys whose skills exceed the Hall of Fame and enters that GOAT conversation. I would not be surprised at all to see him be able to take out the Mayweather's and Whitaker's and Duran's of times past. Dude is that good.

I agree, but he's acting like PBC blackballed him, when it was TR that blocked the Manny fight, and said they were losing money on his fights!

Isn't Crawford contractually obligated to give Spence a rematch? I don't want to see it, but he has to fight Spence next. Didn't Ennis have the opportunity to be Crawford's mandatory earlier, but chose to go in another direction? I see that Ennis has found his balls now that Crawford has a contractually obligated fight against somebody else.
