Comments Thread For: Andre Dirrell To Deontay Wilder: Please Go Back To That Knockout Mentality, You Are Not a Boxer

Going the distance is normally the last thing that happens in a Deontay Wilder fight. Outside of Tyson Fury, no one has fought the former WBC title holder and lived to talk about it. The same storyline surrounded Joseph Parker. Sure he once held the WBO title for a protracted period, and there's no doubt that he has some big-time wins under his belt but a matchup with Wilder? Good luck.

all he talks about is peace and love, meditating and family, the killer instinct is gone, he should have listened to marvin haglers advice. plus getting hit vs fury has him more thoughtful and careful so hes second guessing himself

Videos for those that don't want to read. Although one error: Wilder never actually fought Breland physically.

I can see the bond you two have with one another, but that bond won’t help you in the boxing game! Wilder is done, he shouldn't fight anymore, he's got the money, might not have all his brains left but he's got the money, its been a good, i wont say great career, take the money and run, no need for further damage

Dirrell's an ex boxer and seems like he's giving some genuine advice.

Again, Wilder should have developed his game the way the first Stiverne fight went.

He is a KO artist, but he can KO only statue targets. parker was not that one, obviously.

Wilder won his belt off the strength of his jab he should of built of that foundation like Breland tried to impress upon him, sadly he fell in love with his power and ignored arguably one of the greatest Olympians of all time because reasons?
