Comments Thread For: Adrien Broner Believes Prime For Prime, He Would've Beaten Floyd Mayweather

Whenever he was called out, Floyd Mayweather made sure that his competition realized that he was unbeatable. During his era, Mayweather fought them all. Hall of Famers such as Miguel Cotto, Ricky Hatton, and Oscar De La Hoya weren't good enough to take him down. However, the only reason Mayweather managed to skate through his career undefeated, was because he was fortunate enough to not cross paths with Adrien Broner.

Let's put Broner in his absolute peak against Mayweather at the final stages of his career. In this scenario it's a complete wash with Mayweather sweeping the fight. With both men in there prime, it's a slaughter with Mayweather getting the stoppage. The gap between these two men is massive.

Some people don't believe in God. I don't believe in Guns.

It really doesn't matter what you believe about anything. A belief doesn't change a reality. I'm reality, nobody is beating Floyd unless they knocked him out, which nobody did.

The future was wide open for that dude. Maybe if he had better folks around him he could have been great. He certainly needed people that were very much great to guide him because he was his own worst enemy. Maybe Mr T or Tony Robbins.

Broner should believe this. Nobody else does but part of being a boxer is believing you’re the best, even if you’re clearly not.
