Inoue also adapted to the shoulder roll by doubling up the right hand and was catching Tapales every time he rolled.

So you need a great chin in top of great defense to give him trouble? Is this a criticism or a compliment?

        • Tapales was hurt for most of that fight.
          A walking zombie.

The last KO punch, you can tell he went down on the accumulation of damage.

          • I am at blame too, but it really tells you something that the relatively unscathed winner by KO having dropped the opponent twice and won atleast 8 of 9 rounds leading to the stoppage some how has a handful of complaints and is considered to have been below expectations.

WTF? Come on dude. Exposed is ridiculous.

Tapales was underrated. He switched up. Made adjustments. Attacked Inoue at multiple levels. He got kod by an ATG.

The only people complaining are casuals who don't realize Inoue carried Tapales and could have stopped him early.

All you need is a strong heart, great chin and great defense and stamina to last the full fight and preferably good enough power to garner respect, thats all.

Inoue started following him with punches as Tapales would retreat because Tapales' jab wasn't active enough. Tapales got too comfortable with the fact that he was getting hit less flush, that he forgot to throw punches of his own.

It's a bit ludicrous that another poster thinks he was exposed...when I think this fight continues to prove how good Inoue is. There is still no blueprint on how to beat him.
