Not every close fight has to be called a robbery. The official record shows a win over Lomachenko and a win over Prograis.

Agree with both, but don't know how it relates to my comment. I rarely call fights robberies. For ex, Loma deserved the loss vs. Teo, just like he absolutely deserved a win vs. Haney.

This thread isn't about Loma, and it's not about the argument about who won between them. My point is that a hotly disputed win over someone smaller and 10 years older than him and Prograis shouldn't put Haney in FOTY conversion. It's laughable when in the same year you have Crawford sparking out P4Per Spence and Inoue moving into his 3rd (or 4th) weight division and embarrassing 2 of the top5 fighters.

Tapales is a better fighter than Prograis.

I mean sure, if you consider a guy that's been KO'd by C level fighters and got gifted his biggest win against Akhmadiliev better than a guy like Regis who has a much better body of resume.

Tapales is hot garbage, LOL I think his last 8 fights have been against opponents with a total of 60 losses.

whilst Prograis only has been against an opponent calibre of only 11 losses in his past 10 opponents with 210+ wins in total. crazy.

Yeah, I'll give him credit for his wins. But they all avoided Crawford for years and we know why after seeing what he did to them.
